The shape, width and quality of the brush are to a great extent qualifying the effect you can achieve with it. For instance, round brushes are ideal for making curves and drawing curls. You draw straight lines preferably with a flat brush, keeping the handle of the brush pointed in the direction of the line. To draw a thin line, you do not necessarily need to use a narrow brush. You can also use the edge of a flat brush for that. This brush is also very convenient for making a thick line merge into a thin one, turning the brush on its side in one fluid action as you go automatically changes the line from thick to thinner.
Mix Pearlite with Grimas Cleansing Lotion for a covering liquid make-up. You can use an A4 system pack (empty 4-palette) or a Mixing Palette for this. First dip the brush in the Cleansing Lotion and then in the Pearlite. Mix the Pearlite and Cleansing Lotion together and then apply the make-up directly to the skin.

Start at the eyes with applying Pearlite 701 with brush IMR6. Then work further above the eyes and towards the sides of the face with Pearlite 732 and brush IMR6. Work out (fade) the applied make-up immediately after applying by dabbing with a finger or a make-up sponge.

Draw the blue lines on the face with Pearlite 730 (mixed with Cleansing Lotion) and brush IMR2.
Then place the white contrast lines next to the blue lines with Water Make-up Pure 001 and brush IMR2.
