Attention: do not apply make-up directly after shaving. When the skin is shaved, it is damaged, making the skin easy to dry out and become irritated. The irritation can get worse when subsequently an aftershave product containing alcohol is used. The irritated skin can react sensitively to the make-up. You can prevent this by leaving several hours between the shaving and the application of make-up. You can apply a skincare cream like Under Make-up Base directly after shaving.

It is important to follow the instructions for removing the make-up, particularly if the make-up is being used several days in a row.

PROCEDURE

Start sticking the reptile nose onto the upper lip and then stick on the rest.
Please note: only attach the outer edge and not the lower edges, so that the facial muscles maintain their freedom of movement.

Apply a little Grimas Mastix Extra to the inside of the scales/adhesive edge and allow it to dry for a few seconds.
Protect the eyes by closing them and covering them with a tissue. Can cause serious damage to the eyes.

Do the following to get the correct degree of adhesion: press the latex prostetic lightly in place and then remove it again straight away. Wait a few seconds and reposition the application, pressing the edges in place with a tissue. To get a smooth transition between the latex prostetic and the skin, even the edges off as follows: apply a thin line of eyelash adhesive to the edge of a sponge and dab this over the transition between the latex prostetic and the skin. Allow to dry with help of a hairdryer until the result is transparent. Repeat this process until a nice and even transition is obtained.

Preparing the skin with Cake Make-up You can apply Grimas Water Make-up (Pure) directly to the skin, but you may also choose to apply a layer of Grimas Cake Make-Up first.
You apply Cake Make-up with a slightly damp make-up sponge. If you work with too much moisture, streaks will form.
You can press the make-up sponge down onto a tissue to remove any excess moisture.

Take the make-up sponge between the fingertips and squeeze it together to create a round surface. With this surface the make-up can be applied.

First dab a little Cake Make-up onto the hand to check the colour intensity. Then apply it evenly from top to bottom. Work the Cake Make-up out properly, up into the hairline, and do not forget the ears and neck. This is how you avoid a mask-like effect. Cake Make-up dries quickly, so you need to work quickly to achieve a nice result. If the result is not even, turn the sponge that you worked with over and use the clean side to even out the make-up. Any stripes after drying can be gently rubbed away with a soft tissue or cloth.
