PREPARATION

Before starting, you ensure your hands and nails are well cleaned. File your nails if necessary, so that there are no snags. By doing this you prevent damages on the face and risk of infection.

Always work using clean materials (sponges, brushes, spatulas, water bowls) and change the water regularly.

Get the subject to put on any clothes beforehand that have to be put on over the head. Protect your models clothing with a hairdressing cape or a towel.

APPLYING A BASE

First degrease and clean the skin you are going to be working on with Grimas Cleansing Lotion. Then wipe dry with a tissue.

With a dry or sensitive skin, you can apply Grimas Under Make-up Base. Allow 10 minutes for it to be absorbed before you continue.

CAMOUFLAGE

Grimas Camouflage Make-up Pure is a strongly covering make-up for various make-up purposes. It is ideal for covering up extreme colour differences.

A birthmark that is bright red you camouflage with 408. A birthmark that verges on purple you camouflage with IV5.

Take the Camouflage Make-up out with a clean spatula. Rubbing it with your fingertip will make it softer and easier to handle.

Apply the camouflage with a brush (or a latex sponge for larger areas) and blend the camouflage using a tip of the latex sponge.
Then apply camouflage in the subject own skin colour. To determine the correct colour, you can mix it on a plastic spatula and test it on the skin, if necessary.
