Do not use ready-to-use cleansing cloths.

PREPARATION

Before starting, you ensure your hands and nails are well cleaned. File your nails if necessary, so that there are no snags. By doing this you prevent damages on the face and risk of infection.

Always work using clean materials (sponges, brushes, spatulas, water bowls) and change the water regularly.

Get the subject to put on any clothes beforehand that have to be put on over the head. Protect your models clothing with a hairdressing cape or a towel.

Attention: do not apply make-up directly after shaving. When the skin is shaved, it is damaged, making the skin easy to dry out and become irritated. The irritation can get worse when subsequently an aftershave product containing alcohol is used. The irritated skin can react sensitively to the make-up. You can prevent this by leaving several hours between the shaving and the application of make-up. You can apply a skincare cream like Under Make-up Base directly after shaving.

It is important to follow the instructions for removing the make-up, particularly if the make-up is being used several days in a row.

PROCEDURE

First degrease and clean the skin you are going to be working on with Grimas Cleansing Lotion. Then wipe dry with a tissue.

With a dry or sensitive skin, you can apply Grimas Under Make-up Base. Allow 10 minutes for it to be absorbed before you continue.

Apply a beard shadow using dark-coloured Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge, Compact Powder or Cake Make-up.

EYESHADOW/ROUGE = Eyeshadow/Rouge

On top of the beard shadow, apply Grimas Stoppelpasta directly from the stick and distribute it evenly over the skin with your finger.
STOPPELPASTA = Stubble Paste
Cut Wool Crepe of the desired colour into thin strips.
WOLCRÊPE = Wool Crepe
Use a make-up sponge to apply the finely cut Wool Crepe on top of the Stubble paste in the direction of natural beard growth.

STOPPELPASTA = Stubble Paste
Finish off the whole with a brush.
REMOVING THE PRODUCTS

Massage Grimas Cleansing Cream into the beard stubble and 'shave' the stubble off the skin with a spatula.

Repeat if necessary.
Then clean with water and soap (you can also use shampoo). Cleanse afterwards with Cleansing Lotion. If the skin is dry or sensitive, than apply a thin layer of Grimas Under Make-up Base: a non-greasy cream with a caring effect.
